Qualifications and Specializations
Our Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner has dual degrees and is board certified as a Nurse practitioner in Psychiatric Mental Health and Family in the State of Maryland. She started her Nursing career in 2002 and attended the University of Maryland, Baltimore, MD where she received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She continued to advance her knowledge in nursing and graduated with honors from Chamberlain University where she completed her Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner. She continued her interest in Nursing by attending National University, San Diego, CA where she obtained a post-master’s degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Florence has a wide range of experiences spanning from critical care, acute and in long-term settings.
Comprehensive Psychiatric Care and Expertise
Through her many years of experience, she has been able to partner with people of all ages who seek help with diverse psychiatric problems to reduced crisis and hospital visits. She specializes in facilitating significant improvement in clients’ symptoms by providing individualized and evidence-based care they deserve and providing education and support needed for overall wellbeing and quality of life. She has experience treating schizophrenia, depression, anxiety, bipolar, OCD, ADHD, PTSD, psychosis, suicidal ideations, and other psychiatric disorders of all ages. She is currently accepting new patients of all ages. Florence also speaks fluent English and Yoruba.

Our clients can be seen the same day or make appointments to be seen for a mental health evaluation, diagnoses, medication prescription, therapy/counseling, and assigned a psychiatric rehabilitation counselor for community benefits.
